Good questions

The honest answers

Exactly 7 days and 6 nights, Saturday to Friday. We pick you up in Split at 12:45 on Saturday, and bring you back to Split on Friday — which usually means cheaper flights home than a weekend departure.

No. Most guests had never boxed before. Experience and top fitness are not required — the week is built around where you are. And if you ever need a morning off, resting is part of the program too.

English. We've had guests from all over the world, so the whole week — training, meals, fire talks — runs in English. Don't worry about being perfect; nobody is.

After we talk, your place is held with a 25% deposit. The deposit is non-refundable — but it never expires: if life gets in the way, you can use it for any future retreat, forever.

It's up to you, but we recommend it. Travel insurance that covers outdoor activities is always a good idea for a week like this.

The week is all-inclusive — accommodation, all meals, transport from Split and back, training, tours and workshops. The price is on request: write to me and I'll send it with everything it covers.

Both work. Most people come solo and leave with a tribe — the group is never bigger than eight. If you'd rather share the week with a friend, bring them along.

The house has two showers, heated by a solar boiler, and three toilets — two inside, one in the summer kitchen. Water comes from our cistern, so showers stay short and army-style. Honestly: it's part of the reset. Drinking water comes from the well down the hill — the best water on Svilaja.

Yes. The house runs on solar power — there is electricity for lights, fridges and charging your phone. What we don't have is Wi-Fi: the signal is there, but we choose to stay offline.

There is homemade local wine at dinner. This is not a sober bootcamp — it's a mountain week. Water, food, fire and early mornings do most of the work anyway.

Tamara, our cook from the village, prepares organic homegrown food — peka, bread, vegetables from the gardens. Vegan and vegetarian options are no problem. When you join, a short form asks about food and habits so she can plan the menu around you.
